Guess Which Toy Company Bought Death Row Records

One of the largest toy companies, Hasbro, has acquired the legendary rap label Death Row Records.
The $4 billion dollar Hasbro deal to buy Entertainment One means Peppa The Pig, Snoop Dogg, Tupac Shakur, My Little Pony, Mr. Potato Head, and more are all under the same family.
The CEO says it's an opportunity to have a brand "driven by family-oriented storytelling."

According to TMZ, his deal in becoming an "entertainment strategist" for the Super Bowl halftime show is just a prelude to Jay Z becoming a "part owner" of an NFL team.

Former NFL Star Cedric Benson Dies In Motorcycle Accident
Famed running back Cedric Benson passed away in a motorcycle accident. Benson was 36 years old.
Benson soared to stardom as a Texas Longhorn then played for the Cincinnati Bengals and Chicago Bears.
According to Austin police, a minivan was trying to cross an intersection when it ran into the motorcycle.
Benson and a woman were pronounced dead at the scene.

Death Row Records Co-Founder Is Finally...

The co-founder of Death Row Records Michael "Harry" O'Harris is set to be released from prison after serving 31 years.
According to Daily Mail, Harris will be released in "mid-August."
Harry O helped build Death Row Records with a $1.5 million dollar investment while behind bars for charges of attempted murder and kidnapping. He helped bankroll notable albums such as The Chronic.
Now Harris says, "Over 30 years ago I was part of the problem...however, over the years I have repeatedly proven myself to be part of the solution. It's about returning to society with my new found vision, talents and insights. Giving back to the communities where my help is so desperately needed."
