Hip-Hop Pioneer Jimmy Spicer Dead At 61

                                        

Rest in peace to one of the early pioneering MCs of hip-hop Jimmy Spicer.

According to the New York Times, Spicer passed away after battling brain cancer and lung cancer. Spicer was 61 years old.

Dame Dash Reportedly Paid $1.7 Million In...

                                     

Dame Dash reportedly invested nearly $2 million dollars for Lee Daniels to produce a biopic based on Richard Pryor’s life.

According to the Blast, Daniels was ordered to pay Dame $1,782,500 in total after learning details of the project but he never got his money back.

The two have now allegedly reached a settlement although the details aren't clear. 

Now we'll just have to see if the Richard Pryor biopic ever releases.
