Kurtis Blow Says Future Deserves More Respect
Future is one of the hottest rappers currently reigning in the trap music industry.
According to Kurtis Blow, Future is one of the most influential artists in rap who deserves more respect.
In a Reddit Q&A with fans Blow says, "I'd say Future should get more respect than he does. He's and incredible rapper that doesn't get the credit he deserves. Maybe even David Banner, whose activism doesn't get enough attention."
When asked about the current state of hip-hop Kurtis Blow says, "I am actually proud to be in hip hop. It is the #1 genre in the world. 25% of all music streamed is hip hop, and everyone involved should get the credit and the props, and my hat goes off to everyone involved who made it the success it is today."
Another Redditor suggested a Future and Kurtis Blow collab and he said “Future, call me! I’m down.”
Would you be down for a collab between the two?
