Notorious B.I.G. Becomes A First-Time Nominee For...

                                 
The Notorious B.I.G. is still continuing to make history. 
Biggie is a first-time nominee for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 2020 class.
Whitney Houston, the Dave Matthews band, Thin Lizzy, the Doobie Brothers, Rufus with Chaka Khan, and more are also among this years nominees. 
Inductees will be announced in January followed by an induction ceremony on May 2, but you can vote today HERE.

Queen Latifah To Be Honored By Harvard University

                                                     
A hip-hop queen is being honored by one of the most prestigious universities in the world. 
Queen Latifah will receive the W.E.B. Du Bois Medal for her contributions to black history and culture.
Latifah is one of 7 honorees who will receive the award on October 22.
