Kurupt Denies Leaving Estranged Wife Over Cancer Diagnosis

Kurupt and his estranged wife's case is still ongoing.

According to The Blast, Kurupt's estranged wife, Jovan Brown, is seeking $14,000 per month in spousal support claiming he left her after finding out she had cancer.

Jovan claims Kurupt left her in a time of need after she helped with business matters such as booking deals, hotels, travel, and "working to make him an established artist."

Kurupt denies the allegations saying he was already making money moves before they met and that her cancer diagnosis happened long after they were separated.

Jovan says they were separated in 2017, but Kurupt says they ended in 2010 and she's had a relationship since then with ex-NBA player Gary Payton.

He also claimed to have helped her with some medical expenses although she would steal his money and deposit royalties into her personal accounts.

Kurupt is asking the court to deny her request for spousal and legal support due to "false claims of leaving her upon learning of her diagnosis."
