Minaj Embarks on 'Pink Friday 2' Tour, Cardi B Announces Solo Path in 2024

Nicki Minaj, the undisputed Queen of Rap, not only dropped her highly anticipated album "Pink Friday 2" but also set the stage for a colossal global tour in 2024. The 41-year-old rap icon, fresh from the album's release on Dec. 8th, sent her devoted Barbz into a frenzy with the announcement of the "Pink Friday 2 World Tour" on Monday.

"BARBZZZ!! It’s time for the #GagCity TOUR. So excited to see you guys!! Presale this week and tickets available FRIDAY," Minaj joyously declared on Instagram, amplifying the anticipation surrounding her latest musical journey.

The "Pink Friday 2 World Tour" promises to be a historic event, marking Minaj's most extensive tour to date. Kicking off with the North American leg on March 1 in Oakland, California, the tour will crisscross major cities, including Las Vegas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, New York City, and Chicago, concluding on May 12 in Austin, Texas. As Barbz eagerly anticipate the global spectacle, Minaj will then traverse the U.K. and Europe in late spring (see the complete list of tour dates at the end of this story).

Meanwhile, in another corner of hip-hop royalty, Cardi B is making headlines with her personal journey. The "WAP" sensation confirmed her newfound single status after parting ways with Offset. During an intimate Instagram Live session on Sunday, Cardi candidly acknowledged her single status and alluded to rumors of Offset's alleged infidelity.

"I don't know if you guys have been getting clues from me from my Lives or from my Stories, when I put some certain music or find my unfollowings," she said. "When it comes for today's events and stuff, I don't know if it's—I don't think it's true. I don't care to find out because I have been single for a minute now. But I have been afraid to like—not afraid, I just don't know how, like, to tell the world. But I feel like today has been like a sign."

Cardi B added, "I have been single for a minute now. I wanna start 2024 fresh, open. I'm curious for a new life, for a new beginning. Yeah, I'm excited."

Singer Ciara and her husband, NFL quarterback Russell Wilson, announced the arrival of their third child together, a daughter named Amora Princess Wilson, on Monday.

The couple shared the news on Instagram, posting a heartwarming photo of their newborn daughter snuggled in their hands. "Amora Princess Wilson, 9lbs 1oz. We Love You so much!" the caption read.

Amora joins Ciara and Russell's growing family, which already includes two other children: daughter Sienna Princess (6 years old) and son Win Harrison (3 years old). This brings Ciara's total number of children to four, as she also has a son, Future Zahir Wilburn (9 years old), from a previous relationship with rapper Future.

Ciara's pregnancy announcement in June 2023 was met with excitement from fans and friends. Throughout her pregnancy, she shared glimpses of her journey on social media, documenting her growing baby bump and expressing her joy at becoming a mother again.

Just hours before welcoming their daughter, Ciara and her older children cheered on Russell and the Denver Broncos as they secured a 24-7 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Rapper Quando Rondo Arrested on Federal Drug Charges

Chatham County Sheriff's Office
Rapper Quando Rondo was arrested Friday on federal drug charges in his hometown of Savannah, Georgia.

The FBI announced the arrest, stating that Rondo, 24, whose real name is Tyquian Terrel Bowman, was apprehended without incident during a routine traffic stop. He now faces four serious charges: conspiracy to distribute marijuana and hydrocodone pills and illegal use of a communication facility.

Rondo initially racked up over 135 million views on YouTube with his 2018 collaboration with rapper Lil Baby on the song "I Remember." He has solidified his position in the rap scene with several mixtapes and singles, further cementing his rising star status through collaborations with prominent artists like Lil Durk, 21 Savage and Polo G.

However, this latest episode adds another layer to Rondo's complex legal history. Back in June 2023, he and 18 others were indicted on state drug and gang charges, including accusations of his involvement in the Rollin' 60s street gang. He has also faced charges of weapons possession, aggravated assault and battery in recent years.

The federal drug charges against Rondo are serious and could carry significant prison sentences if he is convicted. His legal team has maintained his innocence and expressed confidence in clearing his name in court.

"Mr. Bowman is innocent of these charges and looks forward to clearing his name in court," said Rondo's spokesperson, Trenae's Public Relations. "We ask that you respect his privacy during this difficult time."

Rondo is expected to appear in federal court later today.
