The Cactus Jack Records boss unveiled a trailer for "Circus Maximus" on Twitter, a movie that coincides with the release of "Utopia." Scott is credited with writing and directing the film. The trailer also revealed high-profile collaborators, including famed indie filmmaker Harmony Korine, Gaspar Noé, Nicolas Winding Refn, Valdimar Jóhannsson and Kahlil Joseph. 

Its official description on AMC's website describes the film as "a surreal and psychedelic journey, uniting a collective of visionary filmmakers from around the world in a kaleidoscopic exploration of human experience and the power of soundscapes."

"The film was shot in five countries (Iceland, Denmark, France, Nigeria and Italy), and the poster claims it was produced by A24; however, studio representatives later denied its involvement in the production.

To celebrate the launch of "Utopia," Scott will be performing a livestream concert in front of the Pyramids of Giza on Friday.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts announced today the selection of five honorees for the 46th Kennedy Center Honors, and Grammy and Emmy Award-winning artists Queen Latifah and music legend Dionne Warwick are among the distinguished recipients to be celebrated at the annual national celebration of the arts in December.

Kennedy Center President Deborah F. Rutter said in a statement that the honorees each "explored new terrain, stretched artistic boundaries, and most importantly, committed to sharing their gifts with the world."

Queen Latifah, known as the "First Lady of Hip Hop," has played a pivotal role in shaping and innovating the art form since its early days. Her contributions as a rapper, singer, and actress have left an indelible mark on the music industry and beyond.

Ana Martinez, the producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, expressed deep admiration for Tupac Shakur, recognizing his remarkable contributions as a rapper, actor, activist, poet and revolutionary.

"This iconic artist has remained an indelible part of our cultural fabric long after his untimely passing and will continue to be a significant figure for years to come," she said. "Without a doubt, as a hometown hero, Tupac's star will rank among the most frequented."

iHeart Media Radio Personality Big Boy will lead the star unveiling ceremony. Prominent guest speakers include Allen Hughes, the acclaimed filmmaker behind the groundbreaking docuseries "Dear Mama: The Saga of Afeni and Tupac Shakur," currently streaming on FX and Hulu. Accepting the star on behalf of the family will be Sekyiwa "Set" Shakur, the artist's sister.

Legendary R&B Singer Bobby Caldwell Passes Away at 71

Legendary R&B singer Bobby Caldwell, known for his chart-topping hits "What You Won't Do For Love" and "Open Your Eyes," has died at the age of 71.

Caldwell's wife Mary confirmed his death on Wednesday via his official Twitter account.

Bobby passed away here at home. I held him tight in my arms as he left us. I am forever heartbroken. Thanks to all of you for your many prayers over the years. He had been "FLOXED," it took his health over the last 6 years and 2 months. Rest with God, my Love. -Mary Caldwell

Caldwell had been suffering from health issues for the past six years after experiencing an adverse reaction to a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, a condition known as "floxed," according to treatment center Regenerative Medicine LA.

Born on August 15, 1951, in New York City, Caldwell was known for his unique ability to blend jazz, R&B and pop into his music.

His soulful hits, including "What You Won't Do for Love," "My Flame" and "Coming Down From Love," earned him worldwide recognition and numerous accolades, including a 1978 Grammy nomination for Best R&B Vocal Performance.

Caldwell's music has been sampled by a wide range of artists, including 2Pac, Aaliyah, Kendrick Lamar, the Notorious B.I.G. and Lil Nas X.

Perhaps his most famous track, "What You Won't Do For Love," appeared on his double-platinum self-titled debut album.
